PRIVACY
Cookie & Browser Storage Policy
This policy explains how IntelliGuider uses cookies, local browser storage and similar technologies to provide secure login, remember preferences and support learning features.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small pieces of information stored or exchanged by a browser to support functions such as authentication, secure sessions and application state.
IntelliGuider may also use browser-storage technologies such as localStorage. Browser storage is not the same as a traditional cookie, but it can be used to remember settings or learning-related application state on a user's device.
Essential authentication and security
IntelliGuider uses authentication and session technologies that are necessary to allow authorized users to sign in securely and use protected areas of the platform.
- Maintaining authenticated login sessions.
- Supporting secure account and student-access workflows.
- Protecting against unauthorized access and misuse.
- Supporting authorized student-preview or similar administrative functionality.
- Maintaining application and security state needed for the service to function.
Local browser storage
IntelliGuider currently uses local browser storage for certain user-interface and learning features.
- Remembering interface preferences such as light or dark theme.
- Remembering selected student learning preferences where applicable.
- Preserving practice or exercise progress on the device.
- Remembering certain reward, sound, music or similar student-experience settings.
- Supporting temporary or device-level learning state that improves continuity when using the platform.
Required and optional technologies
Technologies that are reasonably necessary for login, account security, essential application state or delivery of a requested feature may be used as required for the service to function.
If IntelliGuider later introduces non-essential advertising, behavioral tracking or analytics technologies that require consent under applicable law, appropriate notice or consent controls will be introduced before or when those technologies are enabled.
Analytics and performance
IntelliGuider may collect ordinary server, application, security and performance information needed to operate, troubleshoot, secure and improve the service.
IntelliGuider does not currently represent that third-party advertising or behavioral analytics cookies are required for ordinary use of the platform. If third-party analytics technologies are introduced in the future, this policy and any required consent mechanisms may be updated accordingly.
Third-party services
IntelliGuider may use third-party infrastructure, authentication, artificial-intelligence, email, payment, security or other service providers as needed to operate the platform.
When a third-party service is embedded, redirected to, or otherwise used by the user, that provider may use cookies or similar technologies under its own terms and privacy practices.
Future payment gateways or other integrated services may use their own cookies or browser-storage technologies when a user enters or completes the relevant third-party service flow.
Managing cookies and browser storage
Most browsers allow users to view, block or delete cookies and locally stored website data.
Blocking or deleting essential authentication cookies or required browser-storage data may cause sign-in, student access, preferences, learning progress or other IntelliGuider features to stop working correctly or require re-entry.
Security
Where appropriate, IntelliGuider uses security controls for authentication-related cookies and session technologies, such as HttpOnly, secure transport and SameSite protections where supported and appropriate.
Updates
This Cookie & Browser Storage Policy may be updated when IntelliGuider introduces new authentication, payment, analytics, security or application technologies or when applicable legal requirements change.
